The family of LCpl Irsal "Axel" Maria, age 30, and the U.S. Marine Corps have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their Hero to his funeral service and military honors.  It will be our honor to do so.

LCpl Irsal "Axel" Maria was serving with the Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 23rd Marines at Port Hueneme, CA when he unexpectedly passed away.  He was very proud of his service with the Marines and was dedicated to being the best he could be.

LCpl Maria is survived by many family members, friends and his fellow Marines.  He was well loved by many and will not be forgotten.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from mortuary to the church. Please see the timetable if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the church, we will meet you there.

NOTE: Please observe the latest “COVID-19” restrictions.
