The family of SM1 Eugene Mitchell Skaggs, age 30, and the US Navy have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present as he is taken to his final resting place after being missing for nearly 80 years, we are honored to do so.

SM1 Skaggs was born 11 Feb 1908 in Ansted, W Virginia.

SM1 Skaggs was serving in the US Navy aboard the USS Oklahoma as a signalman on the "Day That Will Live in Infamy", December 7, 1941 when his ship was bombed and sank at Pearl Harbor.
