The family of Ignacio (Todd) Lugo Duenez has invited the PGR to participate in honoring Todd’s life and his service to our country. We are privileged to do so.

Todd graduated from San Diego High School in 1951.  After high school he went to work for Ryan Aeronautical, then Convair, and finally Solar Turbines. He was drafted into the Army and served in the infantry for two years, in Germany during the Korean War.

After his honorable discharge from service Todd had a 35-year career with Solar Turbine as a gas turbine supervisor. When the kids were young, the whole family was involved with Pop Warner football for several years. Todd coached, their sons played, their daughter cheered, and Rose was a chaperone and played Powder Puff football with the other moms. Todd also enjoyed golfing at many local courses with the Solar Golf Club, and continued to play after he retired. He also enjoyed camping and traveling with his family, dancing with his wife, eating at Filippi's, watching the Chargers play, celebrating holidays with extended family, and attending church. In his later years, Todd enjoyed rooting for his grandchildren as they played various sports during their school years.  He also enjoyed attending Bible study and helping out at various church events. Todd was beloved by his family and friends, and will be greatly missed.

Todd is survived by his wife of 60 years Rose; children Daniel, Steven and Laura; 4 brothers, 2 sisters, 8 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.
