John Richard Stark, 72, USN, Vietnam, San Diego – 29 NOV 2018
« on: November 24, 2018, 02:19:48 AM »
The family of John Richard Stark has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service to his country.   It will be our privilege to do so.

John Stark, 72, served his country in the US Navy from 5-1-1965 to 12-31-1968, time that included duty in Vietnam.  At the time of his honorable discharge he had attained the rank of Seaman (E-3).

In civilian life, John was an RV salesman who loved camping and traveling, and was an active member of the American Legion Riders.

John is survived by his wife, son, and five grandchildren

The family has requested an accompaniment from Clairmont Mortuary to a 1300 committal service at Miramar National Cemetery, a distance of approximately 5 miles.

The American Legion Riders will be joining us on this mission to follow right behind the family cars. This will be a large procession and we will not have motor escorts.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the chapel service to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
