The family of Victor B. Arroyo has invited the Patriot Guard to join them in paying honors to this Korean War Hero, and it will be our honor to do so.
 

Victor was always a very hard working individual. He was a simple man, and always cared for people. He was always very active in his community and was always serving
.
His military career, as well as his civilian life always dictated that he would help people no matter where or what situation they were in.
 
Victor first began serving his Country when he joined the United States Army. He served from 1950 - 1953. He attained the rank of Sgt. serving in the Korean War.
 

Upon Victor's Honorable Discharge he quickly went to work for a well known tire manufacturer. Victor worked there for over 30 yrs. After that he went to work as a Bus mechanic for 20 more yrs. Even after Victor retired he was a Union Representative for the California School Employees Association.
 

Victor also very active in the VFW, and a very strong supporter of the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
 

Our Hero stepped from this life into the next on Friday March 20, 2015.
 

Victor leaves behind his wife: Nellie of 61 yrs. 4 children:  Frank Cuevas, Rachel Arrendondo, Victor Arroyo Jr., and Michael Arroyo. Brothers: Joe and Gilbert Arroyo, 10 Grandchildren, 25 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
 
 

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church services to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
