!!! TIME CHANGE !! TIME CHANGE !! THIS FLIGHT IS NOW DELAYED !! PLEASE SEE UPDATED TIME TABLE BELOW. PLEASE CHECK THIS THREAD FOR TIME CHANGES BEFORE LEAVING !!!

This is one-unit involving two meeting locations. The first will be for PGR coming from Inland Empire area and the second for PGR coming from the San Diego area. Pick whichever staging area is convenient and/or close to you.

The Command and FRO (Family Readiness Officer) of a Marine Unit have asked the Patriot Guard Riders to welcome home one of their units of brave Marines and Sailors from a long deployment. These men and women have lived in an environment very different from the one you and I are fortunate to be able to wake up to everyday.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Marine Unit.  For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying these Marines to their unit base camp.  Please see the time table below if you would like to participate.  For those who would rather go directly to either the 2nd staging point or the unit's base camp, we will meet you there.

Also necessary are, hard sole shoes, long pants, full-fingered gloves, a long sleeve outer garment, eye protection, and a DOT helmet.  A brightly colored reflective vest is no longer needed but recommended.  Please have your I.D. ready when you arrive at the gate.

Due to OPSEC (Operational Security) limitations which involve troop movements and on-base activities, exact details of this mission will be explained at the "Mission Briefing" only.
