The family of SGT Lindsay A. Rogers, 33, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the departure of this Hero from So Calif to her home state of Alabama, we will be honored to do so.

SGT Lindsay Rogers has served in the US Army for many years and was transferred to US Army Reserves where she was called again to Active Duty.  SGT Rogers served 2 tours in Afghanistan in combat areas fighting the Global War on Terror.

SGT Rogers was tragically killed while walking with her fiancee by a drunk driver, her fiancee was injured but sadly SGT Rogers succumbed to her injuries.

SGT Rogers is from the state of Alabama and will be returned there for burial, we have been in touch with PGR in Alabama to receive her.

Our mission will be to accompany the Hero from the funeral home to the Airport, see the time table below.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and her family from the funeral home to the airport. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the Southwest Cargo, we will meet you there.

This mission involves an aircraft arrival. Arrival times can change at the last minute so please check this thread for any last minute changes before leaving

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
