The family and the US Army have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the arrival and funeral of SGT Michael J. Martinez, 22.

SGT Martinez, from Norwalk, CA, enlisted in the US Army July 2, 2013.  He was a fire support specialist with the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division out of Ft Carson, Colorado.  His unit was deployed to Germany in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve when he sadly passed away.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero.


Part 2 Time Table for Thursday, 07 Sept 17:

1100- Stage at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Rd., Whittier, CA 90601 https://goo.gl/maps/Nn3qnWRKujQ2.
          Memorial Chapel. Please arrive quietly as service will be in progress.

1115- Mission Briefing

1145- Flag line as Hero is transferred to coach.

1150- KSU to final resting place for Flag Line and Military Honors.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
