The family of Forrest LeRoy Lanley invites the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in their loved ones funeral and military honors. We are honored to accept this invitation.

Mr. Langley enlisted in the Army 21 MAR 43. After completing basic training at Camp Bowie, TX., he completed Medical Technician School in Atlanta, GA.  Mr. Langley served in France, Belgium and Germany.  After Germany’s surrender, Mr. Langley responded to  POW camps in Germany to care for our surviving soldiers.  Mr. Langley was honorably discharged at the rank of Private, 29 FEB 46.

In civilian life Mr. Langley was a general contractor.

Mr. Langley was preceded in death by his first wife of 45 years, Barbara.  He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Mildred; son, William; daughter, Vicki; five grand children and eighteen great grandchildren.

Note:  This notice is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this military veteran.  For those interested all are welcome, we will accompany the hero from Halverson, Stone & Myers Mortuary to his final resting place.  Please see time table if you would like to participate.  For those that would rather go directly the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
