20th ANNUAL WAR DOG MEMORIAL - MARB - Moreno Valley - 16 FEB 19

The Dawgs Project has once again invited the PGR members to participate in honoring our current and past Military Dog Handlers and their K9 companions. It will be an honor and a privilege to do so.

Our mission is to form a flag line for the singing of our National Anthem, introduction of our Gold Star Families (many of them we stood for in the past) and laying of the hands on the K9 Memorial.
 
Below are the sequences of events.
 
1000 Hours – War Dog Memorial Ceremony commences

- Call to Colors ~ San Bernardino Valley Young Marines
- National Anthem
 
- Welcome
- Greg Kuster, Director, March Field Air Museum

- Invocation Prayer
- Chaplain Nathan Graeser, US Army National Guard, 79th Infantry Brigade
 
- Guest Speaker 
- Harris Done, Award Winning Filmmaker, Always Faithful 
 
- Keynote Address
- Major Scott Huesing, Retired U.S. Marine Corps & Bestselling Author, Echo in Ramadi 
 
- Reading of the Names of the Fallen
- Allies – USAF SrA Ashleigh Green
- US Army – Sgt. Michael Gardner
- US Navy – MA1 Kyle Nelson
- US Marine Corps – Staff Sgt. Edgar Ramirez
- US Air Force – SSgt. Tiffany Core
- US Military K9s – Justin Melnick & Dita, Actors, television series “Seal Team”
 
- Placement of the Wreath ~ Gold Star Family Members
 
- Recognition of Vietnam Veterans
 
- Procession/Laying of the Hands (Veterans, Current Military, All Others)

- K9 Demos ~ USMC 29 Palms Military Working Dog Section & Riverside County Sheriff K9 Team

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
