The family of Andre Barriga has invited the Patriot Guard Rides to be present to honor their hero for his service.  It will be our privilege to do so.

SCPO Andre Barriga served in the US Navy from 1992 to 2016. Our Hero Served in USS Peleliu (LHA-5), HSC-3, USS Constellation (CV-64), Aviation/Shipboard Firefighting School, USS Belleau-wood (LHA-3), Center for Naval Leadership, Iraq as an Individual Augmentee, USS Nimitz, USS Sterett (DDG-104), Commander, Naval Air Forces. Served in Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.

He served as an Aviation Boatswains Mate Firefighter, he had what some call the most dangerous job in the Navy, he controlled the landings of aircraft on the decks of Aircraft Carriers. He retired from the Navy as a Senior Chief.

Sadly, he suffered from PTSD as a result of his service and never recovered.

Andre enjoyed 4-wheeling in the sand dunes and working on projects around the house.

Andre is survived by his loving wife Susan Barriga, and 3 daughters Brittin Barriga, Raquel, and Veronica Barriga.

This is a Combat Related mission. Dog tags will be available.
