The Patriot Guard have been requested by the family of United States Marine, Manuel R. Villareal, 86, to accompany our hero from his family home to his final resting place at Riverside National Cemetery. It will be our honor to fulfill his wishes.
Manuel served in the Marines for six years, two active duty and four as a reserve. He was a warehouseman stationed at Marine Corps Logistic Base in Barstow, CA. During this time, he was exposed to toxic chemicals used but it is unknown if this led to his demise.
After his honorable discharge, Manuel owned and operated a towing and transportation company for 35 years until his death. He loved riding motorcycles and will be carried on his beloved Gold Wing to RNC. He also enjoyed riding ATVs and boating. He loved camping with family as well as dining out.
Manuel will be forever missed by his loving wife, Donna, his son, Justin, and daughter-in-law, Erika, along with four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
