The family of DAVID STEVEN BESNACK, 70, PFC, US MARINE CORPS, RIDGECREST, 03 MAY 2025, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their HERO From Holland and Lyons Mortuary to Desert Memorial Cemetery, Ridgecrest, California on SATURDAY 03 MAY 2025. We are Honored to Fulfill their request.
David Steven Besnack, also known as Coyote Dave, was born on July 30, 1954, and passed away at Riverside Community Hospital due to health complications.
He was born in Sewickley, PA, and grew up in Ambridge PA. Shortly after High School he enlisted in the Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam. He was one of 13 Marines in a platoon of 40 to return home. He moved back to Ambridge where he went to work as a blast furnace operator for J & L Steel Corp. After the company shut down, he moved to Miami to work construction. He met Robert (Bob) Eldridge in Atlanta GA and spent 48 blissful years together. Dave and Bob moved to Ridgecrest in 1997.
David was an active member of the American Legion Post 684 in Ridgecrest, held many jobs, in different parts of the country and will be missed by all. Services will be held in the chapel of Holland and Lyons Mortuary at 2pm, followed by a procession to Desert Memorial Cemetery in Ridgecrest for Military Honors graveside.

1550 - FLAG LINE – for dignified transfer of HERO from Coach to graveside.
1600 – MILITARY HONORS GRAVESIDE –
1630 – DISSMISSED –
