SHORT NOTICE / URGENT!!

PART 1 OF 2

The United States Navy and the family of PO1 Christopher W. Miner, 35, have requested the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their Hero from the airport to the funeral home.  It will be our honor to participate in this accompaniment.

Petty Officer 1 Christopher W. Miner served with the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training (CNATT) Detachment Lakehurst, New Jersey at the time of his passing.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this military veteran.  For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the Hero from the airport to the funeral home, approximately 30 miles.  Please see the timetable if you would like to participate.

NOTE:  Part 2 of the funeral will be posted when details become available.

1615 – KSU to arrival location (plane arrival time)

1815 - ETA arrival to Pierce Brothers.

1830 - Flag line for transfer of Hero from coach to the building.

You do not have to be a veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (RC). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
