The family of John Haley Weeden has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.
John served honorably in the US Air Force from 1960 to 1964. At the time of his discharge he had attained the rank of A3C E-2.
In civilian life John was a custodian and a Special Education teacher. He loved baseball and bowling, but his true passion was his kids and grand kids.
John is survived by his wife of 50 years, his siblings, his daughter, his son and 6 grandchildren ranging in ages from 26 years to 22 months.
The family has requested an accompaniment from El Cajon Mortuary to John’s final resting place, Miramar National Cemetery, a distance of approximately 19 miles.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the Hero and his family from the mortuary to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
