The family of James Edivan has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the services of their Hero and honor him.  It would be our privilege to do so.

James Edivan enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1966 and served until he was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant after having served in the Vietnam War.

After his military service James owned and operated two businesses in Riverside.  One was Rocco's Italian Restaurant for 30 years, and the other was PJ's Air Conditioning and Refrigeration for 20+ years.  He was a hardworking man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and also became a Harley enthusiast in his later years.  When he started needing medical attention and spending a lot of time at the VA hospital, it became a kind of brotherhood for him with the other Vets, he enjoyed talking to them and sharing experiences.

James is survived by his wife Judy, his daughter Christina Leedy, sons Rocco Edivan and Albert Edivan, and 10 grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
