!!! UPDATE !!! CHANGE IN ARRIVAL POINT AT AIRPORT & 2ND STAGING/SEE UPDATED TIME TABLE BELOW !!!

The U S Marine Corps and the family of SSgt Enrico Antonio Rojo, 29, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany this Hero as he is returned to his family in Humble,Texas for a military funeral, we will be honored to do so.

SSgt Enrico Rojo 29, served proudly in the U S Marine Corps, enlisting in 2010, including deployment to Afghanistan where he was injured by an IED explosion and was awarded the Purple Heart.  He was attached to Delta Co, 4th Tank Battalion at 29 Palms Marine Base.

On December 19, 2016, SSgt Rojo was traveling on the 10 freeway in Loma Linda with his fiancee and other family members on their way to LAX to fly to Texas to spend the holidays with his parents, when they witnessed an accident and an overturned vehicle.  Rico insisted on stopping and rushed to the vehicle to render assistance to the young woman trapped inside.  As he was making sure the woman was ok he was hit by another vehicle and killed.

Rico joined the Marine Corps because he always wanted to help others.  He is described by all who knew him as a selfless person always thinking of others.  He and his fiancee Michelle became engaged in 2015 and were planning to be married in 2018.

SSgt Rojo is survived by his parents, siblings, extended family and his fiancee Michelle.

The Hero's sister, who is also an Active Duty Marine, will accompany him home.
