The Office of Military & Veterans Affairs and the Family of Senior Chief Petty Officer Jacinto “Jack” Ramos Villanueva, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

SCPO Villanueva proudly served our country in the United States Navy, having served 20 years from August 1975 to September 1995.  At the time of his retirement he was an Electrician’s Mate Senior Chief Petty Officer (E-8).  SCPO Villanueva served with distinction in Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm.  For his service, he received 2 Navy Achievement Medals, Expeditionary Medal, Sea Service Deployment Medal with 1 Bronze Star, National Defense Service Medal, ADM Flately Award, Expert Rifleman Medal, Expert Pistol Shot Medal, Enlisted Service Warfare Specialist, and 5 Good Conduct Medals.

After his service, Jack worked for the City of San Diego Sanitary Waste Department.  He enjoyed working on and restoring cars, rebuilding car engines, and he enjoyed helping others with their cars.

Jack was predeceased by his wife, Frances.  He is survived by his daughter, his son, 3 sisters and 4 grandchildren.

The family has requested accompaniment from the Church at Rancho Bernardo to El Camino Memorial Park, a distance of approximately 23 miles.  The family is providing 4 professional motor escorts for this procession.
