The family of Ralph Acedo Galindo invites the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their loved one at his final service.  We are honored to accept this invitation.

Ralph proudly served in the Army Air Corps during WWII as a waist gunner aboard a B-17 Flying Fortress, logging many combat missions.  Following the war, Ralph never spoke of his combat missions.  When Ralph encountered a German citizen after the war he expressed his apology for having to take the lives of so many German military.  The only thing he told his friends and family when asked about his experiences was, he did his job.

After the war, Ralph worked at the naval ammunition depot in Seal Beach, CA., John Mansfield, Co. filling hoppers with asbestos and as a back hoe operator foreman.

Ralph loved fishing, camping, traveling, doing handy man stuff fixing or building things.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 71 years, Margaret; daughters, Mary Ellen Pacheco, Margarita Mendez and Virginia Mann; 8 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
