The family of SPC Samuel Omarkarim Shaaheed, 29, and the U.S. Army, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the arrival of their Hero as he returns home for his funeral services, we will be honored to do so.

SPC Samuel Shaaheed enlisted in the US Army in August, 2012 and was a Culinary Specialist assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Co., 407th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Ft Bragg, NC.

SPC Shaaheed is survived by his wife and 3 children.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family mortuary to the cemetery. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

1045- Mission Briefing

1100 - Flag Line for dignified transfer of Hero to coach
 
1115 KSU to accompany Hero to Desert Memorial Park,  2200 E Ave S, Palmdale, CA 93550 https://goo.gl/maps/zH4tNn41hPP2
 
1130  Form a flag line as Hero is transferred from coach to final resting place and military honors.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
