The family of Dillon Cody Wiltfong, 26, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in honoring Dillon’s life and his service to our country. We are privileged to do so.
Dillon enlisted in the US Army in 2009 and served until 2014. Dillon was 11C - Infantry Mortar Man and a combat veteran of the war in Afghanistan. At the time of his discharge he had attained the rank of Specialist 4th Class.
For his service Dillon received the following: Army Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal w/ 2-Stars, Global War on Terror Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (2nd Award), NATO Medal, Combat Infantry Badge and the Overseas Service Award (2nd Award). He later served in the California Army National Guard.
Dillon is survived by his mother Marcella, father David, brother Dustin and sisters Amanda and Amber, both who served in the US Army with Amber also serving in Afghanistan. This mission request comes to us from Dillon’s uncle, Robin Lewis, a former US Marine.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will accompany this hero an family from Alpine to Ft Rosecrans National Cemetery. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

Dillon Cody Wiltfong3/28/1990 - 1/25/2017You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
