The family of Walter Lee Colvin, 93, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the funeral service for their Hero, it will be our honor to do so.
Walter Colvin served in the US Army for 14 and half years during both WWII and the Korean Conflict. He had achieved the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7) when he was honorably discharged in 1955. Walter was awarded several Medals including the Combat Infantry Badge, Bronze Service Star, Occupation Medal Germany, Occupation Medal Japan, Central Europe Campaign, American Theater Ribbon, World War II Victory Medal, French Corps De Guerre, and the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign ribbon.
After serving in the military Walter continued to serve his country and community with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Walter Colvin is survived by his wife Margaret, 6 children, 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

NOTE: You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
