The family of Michael John Mason has requested the presence of the PGR at their Hero’s service with military honors.  We will be our privilege to attend.

Michael was born on September 3, 1954 in Elmhurst, IL.  He passed away as a resident of San Jacinto, CA on February 6, 2017 at the age of 62.  He is survived by his wife of almost 43 years, Sylvia Mason, five sisters (Pam, Cindy, Sheri, Teri and Lindy) and his brother Robert.  He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Michael served in the US Navy from May 1972 through May 1975. He earned the Vietnam Service Medal upon his Honorable Discharge as a FN E-3.

After his military service, Michael became the Owner and CEO of Four Slide Engineering for 40 years.  His hobbies were boating, skiing, cooking, fishing and camping.

Michael was a Charter Member of the Moreno Valley Elks and a Lifetime member of the VFW and the American Legion.  He was a loving, caring and giving man who will be deeply missed by family, friends and his community.
