This is Part 1 of a 2 Part mission.

The US Navy and the family of Aviation Ordnanceman Petty Officer 2nd Class Andrea P Daves have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for her service to her country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

AO2 Daves, 33, was serving her country in the US Navy and was stationed at FRCSW North Island, Coronado, CA.    For her service she was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Navy Achievement Medal.

On Wednesday, 22 FEB 2017, AO2 Daves’ car was found ablaze on a street in Santee, CA.  Sadly, her body was found inside.   This hero was a mother of two.

Part 1 will consist of a Flag Line at the memorial at North Island, on Friday, 3 March 2017.

Each motorcycle rider should have registration and proof of insurance. You should also wear hard sole shoes, long pants, full-fingered gloves, a long sleeve outer garment, eye protection, and a DOT helmet. A brightly colored reflective vest is no longer needed but recommended.  Have your I.D. in hand when you arrive at the gate.

Due to OPSEC (Operational Security) limitations which involve troop movements and on-base activities, exact details of this mission will be explained at the Mission Briefing only.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be honoring this hero at her Memorial. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.
