The family of Hull Maintenance Technician Chief Petty Officer Chad Michael Gayda has invited the PGR to be present to honor this hero for his service.  It will be our privilege to do so.

HTC Gayda, 42, served his country for 21 years in the US Navy.   He was deployed to the Persian Gulf, 2 WESTPAC Tours and the Horn of Africa.  He was also stationed in Germany Italy, Singapore and the Middle East Area of Operations.

HTC Gayda loved riding his Harley Davidson.  Sadly, this hero was killed when he crashed on his Harley just one day before his retirement.   He is survived by his wife and his two children.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying this hero’s family to his church service. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the church, we will meet you there.
