The family of Bunny "Oma" Crowley has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as she makes her final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Bunny was born in Rice Lake, Wisconsin on 07 February 1939 and entered into Eternal Rest on 09 August 2019 in Norco, California.

Bunny joined the US Army (Women's Army Corps) on 19 August 1957 with the intention of making the Army her career. She was trained as a Medical Specialist with Chemical, Biological, and Radiological training. Bunny met and married her husband, a fellow soldier. Bunny was discharged on the 18 August 1960 after becoming pregnant with her first child.  She was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. Bunny was honorably discharged as a Specialist 4th Class.

After the military Bunny spent most of her time raising her children.  She did whatever was needed and volunteered to help everyone.  She helped clean houses, used her social security check to buy food for neighbors.  Volunteered for the PTA, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, loved watching her grandchildren dance and play sports. Without any children in softball she would watch games at Norco High until she was “adopted” by Cal State Fullerton Softball team. Her passion was that of women in the military, she was most proud of her service in the Army.

Bunny is predeseased by her husband of 42 years, and is survived by her sons William, James, daughters Tigger, Terri, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.
