Title: Clyde Orlando Griffin, 93, USA, WWII, Riverside – 30 APRIL 14

The family of Clyde Orlando Griffin has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their loved one.  We are honored to do so.
 
Clyde was a corporal in the Army Infantry from 1938 to 1947 and a veteran of WWII. He was awarded the Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, American Campaign Medal, European-African middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 1 bronze star, WWII Victory Medal and Combat Infantry Badge 1st Award.

He retired from both Uniroyal Tires and Aero Jet.

His interests were hunting, fishing and wood working.

He had no children but is survived by several nieces and nephews of whom several were great, great, great nieces and nephews.

1315 – KSU to family staging area 3 and shelter for Flag line, Service and Full Military Honors

Under the leathers and behind the shades

is a thumping, not of horsepower,

But determination of heart for our brothers, sisters and families

 
You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).
