The family of Daryl Brian Thompson has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present and honor their Hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.
Daryl B. Thompson was born in 1946 and called Downey his home. He went to Downey High and graduated from Cal State Long Beach in 1971 with a Bachelor Degree in Political Science. Following college Daryl answered his call to duty and served in the US Army including heroic service in Vietnam for which he was awarded fourth-highest individual military award the Bronze Medal of Honor with a “V” for valor.
Daryl is survived by Shirley, his wife of thirty years, and his daughter, Courtney as well as many other family and friends who will miss him dearly.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
