The family of Victor Graversen has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the military honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey.   It will be our privilege to fulfill their request.

Vic passed away at the age of 75 of natural causes. Vic joined the Navy 16/DEC/69 – 4/SEPT/73 & was honorably discharged as an E–5.  He was awarded the National Defense service medal, Vietnam service medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Meritorious Unit Citation Ribbon, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry.

He is survived by his spouse Bonnie Graversen. His siblings Jeff Phillips and Jenny Phillips.  His Granddaughter Brittany Gass. & Granddaughter Corey Negrette. Great granddaughter’s Abbey Gass & Ava Gass, & Avliova Gass.

The Graversen family is asking the PGR to escort them to Miramar National Cemetery

For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary to the cemetery, approximately 16 miles. We encourage those who do not ride to participate in your car. If this is your first mission, go to the initial staging area, where you will be briefed by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely. Remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes—no talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep the radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we honor.
