This is Part 2 of a 2 part mission.

Part 1 can be seen here.

The family of Captain Brock Richard Budash, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Captain Budash enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2001.  He served as a flight line mechanic with HMLA-169 at Camp Pendleton and became an instructor at the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training (CNATT).  During this time he earned his title of Master Training Specialist.  He was a veteran of the war in Iraq having deployed there three times.

In 2010 he graduated from Officer Candidate School earning the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, and was sent to VMFA 232, the oldest fighter squadron in the Marine Corps at Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar.  During his time with the 232 he deployed to Iwakuni, Japan.   At the time of his passing he was an Officer Selection Officer (OSO) at Recruiting Station Pittsburgh.

While an active duty Marine, Capt Budash graduated Summa Cum Lade with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.   He served his country proudly for 15 years and was pursuing his Doctorate Degree when he died suddenly from natural causes.  He was 34.

Captain Budash is survived by his wife of 12 years, Maria, his parents, and an extended family.
