The family of Jerome Henry Prather has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey.

Jerome was in the Army and served from December 8, 1949 until December 8, 1952. Jerome Served during the Korean Conflict and was injured in a jeep accident on December 12, 1950 when his jeep overturned. He received a Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his combat injuries.

Jerome worked as a Union Electrician out of IBEW in Santa Barbara. He also enjoyed computers, carpentry and was the treasure of the 5th RCT (Triple Nickel) organization.

Jerome is survived by his wife Angelina, siblings Nolita, Norman, Children Tine, Dian, Lisa, James, 13 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

1130- Stage at Arlington Mortuary 9645 Magnolia Ave, Riverside

1145 - Mission Briefing
 
12:00 -1230 - Flag line as our Hero is moved to the awaiting Coach
 
12:30 12:40 - KSU to RIverside National Cemetery Staging Area 3 (Staging Area 8 for PGR)

13:15 - ETA Riverside National Cemetery

13:30 - KSU to final Resting place and Military Honors!

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
