The family of Navy Veteran Agapito Ferrer Beza has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their hero for his service and sacrifice to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.

Agapito Beza enlisted with the US Navy in 1954 and retired in 1975. He served on several Navy ships: the USS Lexington, USS Topeka, USS Higbee, USS Benner, and the USS Cunningham. He was awarded six Good Conduct Medals, the National Defense Service Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Expeditionary Medal for Taiwan Area of Operations, and the Vietnam Service Medal.  CPO Beza earned the rank of E-7 CPO. He belonged to the Navy Fleet Reserve.

Following military service, Agapito worked in the Finance Department at the VA Hospital in Long Beach.

CPO Beza is survived by wife Elisea of 54 years, daughters Jane and Lorraine, son-in-law Chris, and 5 grandsons.

Notable mention: The Chief's daughter Lorraine is an active Blue Star Mother with the Corona chapter.
