The United States Marine Corps and the family of Cpl. Bryan Michael Lauw have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany this hero to the airport for a flight to his home state of Louisiana.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Cpl Lauw, 21, of Denham Springs, LA, enlisted in the Marine Corps in June 2012.  He was with the 1st Marine Division, and was an anti-tank missileman from the division's 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion.  During his career, Cpl Lauw deployed with the Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force South, serving aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA-6), supporting multiple security cooperations in Central and South America.

Cpl Lauw is survived by his father Rick, mother Kristi, and sister Ashley.

We will meet at the mortuary in Fallbrook, provide a flag line as Cpl Lauw is transferred to the waiting coach, then accompany Cpl Lauw to San Diego Airport.

The PGR in Louisiana is scheduled to receive Cpl Lauw at the airport in New Orleans and accompany him on his final journey home to Denham Springs.
