The family of HM3 Promlikhit Khamkhong, USN (AD) has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to our country. It will be our honor to do so.

Hospital Corpsman Third Class Promlikhit Khamkhong, 27, a native of San Diego served his country for 9 years in the US Navy. Upon graduating from Mira Mesa High School, he married his high school sweetheart and joined the Navy. HM3 Khamkhong was attached to 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, known as “Darkhorse” stemming from the battalion’s radio call sign during the Korean War.

HM3 Khamkhong and his wife, Carolina, were riding on his motorcycle on the night of Thursday, 13 July when they crashed on Otay Lakes Road. Carolina survived but sadly, Promlikhit succumbed to his injuries.

HM3 Khamkhong is survived by his wife Carolina and son Laude.
