The family of Profirio G. Carreon, age 85, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their Hero, we will be honored to do so.

Profirio enlisted in the US Navy June 20, 1951 and served honorably until his discharge June 17, 1955.  He served during the Korean War and achieved the rank of BM3, Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class.  He received the following awards Korean Service Medal: National Defense Service Medal: Good Conduct.

After the military he held various jobs and eventually went to work for Kaiser Steel in Fontana where he worked for 29 years as a supervisor until retirement.

Mr. Carreon is survived by Spouse, Gloria A. Carreon; Children, Carlos Carreon, Maria Garcia, Jorge Carreon and Claudia Carreon; Grandchildren, 13; Great-Grandchildren 1.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church services to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
