The family of CPO Edward A. Lomongo, Jr., age 36, and the US Navy, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their Hero from his church service to his final resting place.  We are honored to do so.

Chief Petty Officer Lomongo was serving with the US Navy in Charlotte, North Carolina and was assigned to work at the military brig at the base at the time of his passing.  CPO Lomongo served many years in the Navy and was very proud of his service, as a result he and his family we able to travel all over the world and live in many places.

Edward was originally from Hawaii where he grew up and his parents still live there. He loved the island life and felt very fortunate to know what the Aloha spirit truly means and lived by it all his life, with love and kindness.

Edward enjoyed many things off duty, he loved sports, especially football, he loved his family and his friends, and they all loved him and will miss him dearly.
