The family of PVT James Noel Zamora, age 18, and the US Army have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor him at his funeral service, we will be honored to do so. 

PVT James Zamora was serving with the US Army at Ft Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina and was tragically killed in a training accident in Boot Camp. He was assigned to Company D, 3rd Battalion, 34th Infantry Regiment.  He died on November 5th on the rifle range during training.

PVT Zamora was returned home to his family in his home town of Oxnard, California.  The PGR is honored to have been invited to accompany him from the airport, and to attend his funeral and military honors.

PVT Zamora is survived by many family and friends and fellow soldiers who will sadly miss him and never forget him.  The PGR also will remember him and honor him always.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
