The family of PFC Brandon Michael Bergsma, age 26, and the US Army have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present for his funeral services.  We will be honored to be there.

PFC Brandon Bergsma enlisted in the US Army in August, 2019, after boot camp he trained as a Bradley Tank Mechanic and was assigned to Ft Bliss in Texas at the time of his passing unexpectedly.  He was attached to FSC, 501st Brigade Support Battalion,1 SBCT, Ft Bliss, TX.

He was known by his unit as a hard worker who always had grease on his hands, and who went above and beyond what was asked of him. At times he was even called upon on a number of occasions to help fix the cars of others in his battalion. He was also known for being the one to have everyone laughing and trying to cheer everyone up when it was rough.

Brandon was known as "Spanky" by friends and family. He was born April 11, 1994 in Downey, CA. The son of Christian Bergsma and Laurice Bonham.

He loved his family and friends with all his heart, nothing in the world was more important to him than his loved ones.
