The family of Billy E. Claybrook have invited the Patriot Guard to accompany him to his final resting place. It will be our honor to do so.

Billy is a member of the Greatest Generation having served with the 29th Infantry in World War II as an airplane and engine mechanic in 1945. Billy was wounded at Strizon, Czechoslovakia at the young age of 20. Billy was awarded the Purple Heart in addition to the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, and the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal. His dates of service were from 26 Mar 1943 to 3 March 1946.

After his military service, Billy lived in Palm Springs for over 50 years. He had a bath and closet design business along with his wife, Jonora. He created bathrooms and closets for many celebrities including Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.

Billy passed in 2005 and his wife, Jonora, recently passed in March of this year. They are to be interred together. Billy is survived by his son, Bobby Claybrook, and was predeceased by a son, Jimmy Claybrook.
