This is Part 2 of a 2-Part Mission

United States Army, Sgt. Isaac John Gayo, 27, of Los Angeles, California was brought home on Monday, April 17, 2023 and will be laid to rest on 21 April.

Sgt. Gayo was one of the nine soldiers - part of the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army who died in a helicopter crash near Fort Campbell in Kentucky with 8 of his fellow soldiers.

Sgt. Isaac John Gayo, was born in the Philippines and enlisted in the U.S. Army from L.A. in 2019. He attended basic training in Fort Jackson, South Carolina and then advanced individual training in Fort Eustis, Virginia. His awards and decorations include the U.S. Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal and the Overseas Service Ribbon. He had been studying to get into flight school and learned that he got it about a week before the accident.

NOTE: This mission posting facilitates your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be with our hero and his family for his service and Military Honors.  Please see the timetable if you would like to participate.

1415 - Mission briefing.

1430 - Stand ready for Flag line.

1445 - Est Flag Line for transfer of our Hero from the building to the coach

1500 - Est move to commitment area.

1515 - Flag Line and Military Honors.

We encourage those who do not ride to participate in your car. If this is your first mission, go to the initial staging area, where you will be briefed by the R/C (Ride Captain).

Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.  Remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes.
