THIS IS A PONY EXPRESS MISSION THE HERO IS COMING FROM KINGMAN ARIZONA TO RIVERSIDE NATIONAL CEMETERY, FEEL FREE TO ATTEND ANY PORTION.  IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GO TO NEEDLES THE DAY BEFORE AND STAY THE NIGHT PLEASE CALL R/C CRAIG LANE TO RIDE OUT WITH HIM FROM VICTORVILLE AREA.  CRAIG - 760-900-0388 he has hotel info.

The family of SPC Robert Allen Marnoff, Jr. has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompanying Robert on his journey to his final resting place for Military Honors.  It will be our honor to do so.

Robert, 52 joined the U.S. Army on 23 Jun 1987 and served honorably until his retirement 18 Nov 2010. He had deployments in the Gulf War and Operation Iraqi Freedom.  He had attained the rank of E-4 at the time of his Honorable Discharge.  He received many medals for his achievements during his 23 years of service. 

After his retirement from military service Robert worked as a truck driver during his civilian career.  In his spare time Robert enjoyed fishing and boating.  Robert also enjoyed many days off-road riding in his side-by-side in the areas around Kingman, Arizona where he lived.  He loved just being in the outdoors and enjoying nature.

Robert is survived by his wife Sherrie, his children Cody, Alex, Amanda and step child Kristen, and his brother John and a sister Danette.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the Hero and his family from the mortuary to his final resting place. Please see the timetable if you would like to participate. We will meet you there for those who would instead go directly to the Cemetery.

If you cannot accompany this Hero, please consider meeting us at the Cemetery entrance with a flag line as the Hero arrives.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to participate in your car. If this is your first mission, go to the initial staging area, and you will be briefed by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or wear casual attire if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
