The family of Marine Veteran John Cuellar Medina has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero, for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.

Mr. Medina served his country from October 1968 through September 1974. He served in Vietnam, and upon his honorable discharge he had attained the rank of Sergeant.

After John’s honorable discharge from the Marines, he worked as a Car Transporter for Pacific Motor Trucking. John was proud of his service and loved the Marines.  He loved his family, and especially loved spending time with his grandkids. He also enjoyed working on his property and running around it on his tractor.

John is survived by his wife Jetta, children Tina, Sophia, and John Richard, and his grandchildren Manuel, Mark, Ozzie, Nico, Monique, Stella, and John Luke.

The family has requested an accompaniment from the family home in Murrieta, CA, to Miramar National Cemetery, a distance of approximately 60 miles. It will be our honor to do so. For those who would rather go directly to the Cemetery, we will meet you there.

Note: Enroute to Miramar National Cemetery, we will stop at the Park & Ride at the intersection of Hwy 76 & I-15 (https://goo.gl/maps/oh5VssN4cZCBN4Ux6)
to pick up those willing to join the procession from there.
