The family of Todd Edmund Davis has requested the Patriot Guard Riders be present as he is laid to rest. It will be our privilege to honor their request.
Todd served in the United States Marine Corps from 08/24/78 to 08/23/81 and again from 05/27/82 to 11/26/84. His worked as heavy equipment operator and electrician. He received several medals and accommodations during the course of his service.
After his exit from the Marines, he worked as a long-haul truck driver with HazMat with a double endorsement. This meant you are able to pull a combination of multiple trailers (2 or 3 trailers) attached to one truck, hence double endorsement. Todd later moved into logistics management where he used his skills to run the fleets at Robinsons-May HQ, Ryerson Steel, CR England, and other companies. While working at Robinsons-May and using his computer skills, he developed a simplified/unified driver on-boarding program that was later picked up by subsequent logistic firms.
Todd enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, lighthouses, bowling, card playing, jigsaw puzzles, and his beloved pets (3 dogs and 2 cats).
Todd is survived by his wife, Denise, and one daughter, Elyse Davis. He is also survived by sisters: Pam Whiskeyman, JoEllen Persyn, Cathy Davis, Vickie Goudie, Kim Higgins; and brothers, Raymond Davis, Neil Davis, Charles Davis, and Tim Davis. He is predeceased by siblings Tammy Davis, Roger Davis, and Robert Davis.

0900 – Stage at Riverside National Cemetery,
0930 – Mission briefing.
0945 – Await arrival of Hero and KSU to assigned cortege.
1015 – KSU to assigned shelter for flag line and military honors.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the Ride Captain (RC). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
