The family of Army Veteran Peter Limon has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.
Mr. Limon served his country from April 07, 1943 to April 25, 1945. He served in WWII as a Machine Gunner, and upon his honorable discharge he had attained the rank of Private First Class. He received the following: American Theatre Ribbon, Purple Heart With Oak Leaf Cluster, Asiatic Pacific Theatre Ribbon with Four Bronze Stars, World War 2 Victory Medal, Philippines liberation ribbon with two bronze star, Combat infantry badge. New Guinea Campaign, Bismarck Archipelago Campaign, Southern Philippines Campaign, Luzon Campaign.
After Peter’s honorable discharge from the Army, he worked in Auto body repair for work and as a hobby, and also enjoyed doing yard work. He remained very active with his fellow Veterans and was a member and past Commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in Los Angeles.
Peter is survived by his daughter Christina Beltran, 4 grandchildren Christine Aguilar, Arthur Beltran Jr, Bianca Beltran & Precious Beltran. His grandkids were very special to him

Please see the timetable below if you would like to participate. The family has requested an accompaniment from the church in Los Angeles, to Riverside National Cemetery, a distance of approximately 67 miles. It will be our honor to do so. For those who would rather go directly to the Cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there, by the Ride Captain (RC). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
