The family of Richard Garth Ogden has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Richard Garth Ogden enlisted in the US Army on July 24th 1957 and served honorably in Vietnam and was discharged on July 23rd 1960.

Richard was retired from Culver City where he worked in the Police and Fire communications Department.

His hobbies were Harley Davidson Motorcycles, Hot Rod's, Gun Smithing, Ham radio's, Politics and his Family.

Richard is survived by his wife Marilyn Ogden, three children Richard, Gina and Karrie, 6 grand children and one great grandson.

Note: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery we will see you there.

1045-Flag Line for Hero and Family for dignified transfer of Hero to coach.

1330-KSU to assigned Shelter for Flag Line, Service and Military Honors.

You do  not have to be a Veteran pr ride a motorcycle to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or casual dress if you are riding in a car. Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
