The family of PO2 Bridgette Elexia Strzok, age 26, and the US Navy have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their Hero from the mortuary to her final resting place, we will be honored to do so.

Petty Officer Second Class Bridgette Strzok was serving with the US Navy as a Fire Controlman when she unexpectedly passed away.  She was described by those that served with her as a joy to be around and a very hard working Sailor dedicated to her duties and very proud to serve.

Bridgette was originally from Tustin, CA where she grew up, and was in San Diego at the time of her passing.  She was recently stationed in Jacksonville, FL.  She was described as someone who radiated joy everywhere she went and had a beautiful, bright, infectious smile.

Bridgette is survived by her fiancee, her family, her friends and shipmates.  Rest easy Sailor, fair winds and following seas.  She will be forever missed and never be forgotten.

NOTE: This mission posting facilitates your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying our hero and her family from the mortuary to his final resting place, approx 26 miles.  Please see the timetable if you would like to participate.
