The family of SPC Isabel Velasquez, 26 have invited the Patriot Guard to Honor their loved one on her final Journey.  We are very honored to attend.

SPC Velasquez, served with the United States Army Reserve unit, 304th Sustainment Brigade out of Riverside CA.  SPC Velasquez was an active duty Police Officer with The Indio Police Department. 

“The entire Indio Police Department is mourning the loss of our sister in blue,” a department statement said. “We were shaken to our core to learn of her unexpected passing. Officer Velasquez was a beautiful soul with an infectious smile. Her IPD family will miss her greatly.”

Velasquez was hired by the Indio Police Department on July 7, 2016.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the funeral home to the church and then to the cemetery.  Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
