The family of Rose Marie Nothey Guerrero has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for her service to her country. It will be our privilege to do so.
Rose Marie served in the US Army, Women's Army Corp (WAC) from 1962 to 1965. During her time in the service, she worked at US Army HQ Ft Rucker Alabama and Ft McClellen Alabama. Rose Marie was very proud of her service.
In her civilian life she worked 23 years as the School Cafeteria Manager at Parkview Elementary in Chula Vista CA. Her 2 grandchildren and 2 children were her life. She also took care of many feral cats and indoor cats. She also collected Barbies from around the world especially Barbies from the Philippines. She was patriotic and loved her country and the red, white and blue.
Rose Marie married Melencio C Guerrero, Senior Chief Retired US Navy, who passed away in 2016.
Rose Marie insisted that she be buried next to her husband in her OWN plot, she said because she earned it.
