The family of Adolpho Vasquez has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to be present during Military Honors for their hero.  It will be our honor to do so.

Adolpho was enlisted in the Air Force from 1960 - 1966 as a radio operator at March Air Force Base.  He was then stationed in Spain for 2 years.  He was awarded  the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Medal, and Air Force Good Gesture Ribbon.  He was honorably discharged as an A1C.

After his discharge, Adolpho then worked as a truck driver for 32 years.  Before his service, he was a lifeguard and loved the water.  He had a passion for bicycling for many years and competed in the LA Marathon a few times.  He also had a heart for his fellow veterans and helped whenever he could.

Adolpho is survived by his siblings Mondo, Rita, Cecilia, and Marissa, children Barbara and Misty, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.  For those interested, and all are welcome.  Please see the time table if you would like to participate.
