The Navy Honor Guard and the family has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his servce to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

MCPO Mike Martin was participating in Run For The Wall in honoring  our fallen veterans.  During the event Mike became ill and succumbed to the illness.  He will be arriving at SD Airport and the PGR has been requested to accompany him to the mortuary.

Master Chief Martin served over 20 years in the Navy as a SEAL and was retired.  He served in both Vietnam and Iraq in the Global War on Terror.

We do not have any information on date or time of funeral services at this time.  Once we get that information it will become Part 2 of this mission and the mission will be posted for the membership.

NOTE:   This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the Airport to Mortuary. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the mortuary, we will meet you there.
